smoked out breaks from one of the heaviest producers on the block.New Systems of Knowledge (aka NSOK) was formed in Chicago: 2003, as a live collaboration between Ricky Ropesack (the cankles, meatnumber5) and Kyle Kyte (greengirls, 5signs). Kyte took the name with him when he moved to the left coast and has released a string of albums as Nsok including the critically acclaimed 'Make Your Own God' on the Filter Label. Nsok is currently operating out of Los Angeles, California, and as part of L.A.'s 5signs crew he can be seen dj'ing eclectic, strictly vinyl sets at various clubs around town. Combining a range of influences from dj Shadow to Rage Against the Machine, Nsok makes heavy, smoked out instrumentals. His compositions artistically paint sound into dark moody landscapes filled with imaginative stories, and cutting edge political commentary. Kyte is also a talented graphic artist, engineer and multi-instrumentalist, who has lend his skills to countless recordings. Discography:
