respected dj and visionary experimental hip-hop producer.Abstract butta fingers (aka ABF) writes downtempo beats from the 11th dimension and beyond. As an in demand Dj and leader of the phenomenon that is 5Signs, ABF is quickly making an indelible crater in the L.A. Hip Hop Scene. Notably impressive considering this Cameroon native moved to the US from Africa just a scant 15 years ago. Abstract Butta fingas cured his craft as a DJ on the famous KCPR in San Luis Obispo, while attending CPSLO for architecture. Upon graduation ABF moved to L.A. where he currently designs future-proof beats from his Pasadena laboratory. In addition to production credits for 5signs, Chinatown, Frank Hill Ensemble and Daddy Day Car, ABF has been courted for solo work by Anodyne Electric Co., Filter Label, Golden Scarab and more. His recent release on Filter (Rise of the elephant Kingdom) picks up where the acclaimed EP the Sleeper left off, an experimental tour-de-force with nods to hip hop, electronic, dubstep and more.
